TELES.VoIPBOX FX is a full-featured, high-quality VoIP gateway that connects to your customer's telecom environment without interfering with any existing telecom equipment.

TELES.VoIPBOX FX is ideal for small and medium-sized companies wanting to transition to alternative, cost-effective telecom infrastructures. TELES VoIPBOX FX has 4 FXO and 4 FXS connectors, which means that a single device can provide 8 VoIP channels.

By running VoIP and PSTN lines in parallel, your customer's contact information remains unchanged. Your customer will also benefit from our TELES IntraSTAR. technology, which provides transparent fallback to PSTN in case of bottlenecks or packet loss during the call set up.

With TELES.VoIPBOX FX, your customer can rely on the integrated LCR engine to automatically select the cheapest route to the destination number no matter if over IP or over the PSTN. The box provides all information for full cost control, which is accessible for further processing.

Configuration possibilities for the TELES.VoIPBOX FX are virtually unlimited. After your customer has entered the few essential parameters, our TELES.GATE Manager tool facilitates on-site access and configuration of the box and routing file. For larger installations and fully automatic remote-provisioning, TELES.NMS is the answer. The versatility of the routing file configuration allows you to propose routes that benefit your own business.

TELES.VoIPBOX FX guarantees excellent voice quality: echo cancellation, silence suppression and comfort noise generation are part of the basic feature set of each device. Also included are various voice codecs that allow effective speech compression and reduce the necessary bandwidth. Our RTP multiplexing technology, which can be activated if TELES hardware is implemented on both ends of the IP connection, can further reduce bandwidth consumption.

TELES.VoIPBOX FX supports signaling protocols H.323 and SIP, configurable on a per VoIP-destination basis. Connections to multiple gatekeepers and multiple registrars for authentication, network surveillance, and billing purposes are also supported.
