TELES.VoIPGATE is a full-featured, high-quality VoIP gateway that integrates into your existing telecom infra-structure. TELES.VoIPGATE is available with 1 to 4 PRI interfaces. Four supplementary analog boards can provide up to 32 analog interfaces.

Installing TELES.VoIPGATE is as simple as connecting it to your PBX, to the Internet, and your public telephone network regard-less of whether your existing systems are based on analog technology or ISDN. There is no need to add port extensions to your PBX or reconfigure your systems. Just follow the steps through TELES.VoIPGATE's easy-to-use Quickstart tool and you're all set.

By running VoIP in parallel with your existing systems, your contact information remains unchanged. Rely on the integrated LCR engine to automatically select the cheapest route to the destination number no matter if over IP or over the public telephone network. You will also benefit from our TELES IntraSTARR technology, which provides transparent fallback to PSTN in case of bottlenecks or packet loss.

With TELES.VoIPGATE you can add VoIP to your PRI-connected PBX without a PRI connection to the PSTN and still benefit from the dynamic PSTN fallback functionality. All that is needed is a fallback line via one of the optional BRI or analog interfaces. This could mean a great saving on lease fees for your telephony lines.

After you have entered the very few essential parameters, our TELES.GATE Manager tool facilitates on-site access and configuration of the box and routing file. For larger installations and fully automatic remote-provisioning, TELES.NMS is the answer. The versatility of the routing-file configuration al-lows you to propose your own routes.

TELES.VoIPGATE guarantees excellent voice quality: Echo cancellation, silence suppression and comfort noise generation are part of the basic feature set of each device. Also included are various voice codecs that allow effective speech compression through the IP network and reduce the necessary bandwidth. Our RTP multiplexing technology, which can be activated if TELES hardware is implemented on both ends of the IP connection, can further reduce bandwidth needs up to 60%.

TELES.VoIPGATE supports signaling protocols H.323, SIP, config-urable on a per VoIP-destination basis and paving the way to Next Generation Networks (NGN). Connections to multiple gatekeepers and multiple registrars for authentication, network surveillance, and billing purposes are also supported.

TELES.VoIPGATE comes with a licensing model that allows you to enhance the capabilities of your system as needed. You choose from a number of software power packages and pay only for necessary features.

TELES.GATE Manager is a Windows- based PC application, which can access any TELES.VoIPGATE via ISDN or IP.

In addition to configuration and routing file management, TELES.GATE Manager provides status, statistics and cost infor-mation on systems, routes and usage.

Debugging tools such as a D-channel and IP signaling monitor and error analysis tools are also integrated.

An HTML interface for configuration and maintenance is also available.
